[/center]MAIN RULES
If the Site Staff wishes to add more Rules here they will.
General Rules
1> We don't want any ilovehp or hprules or anything like that for user names. Use the name of your character for your usernames PLEASE.
2> The site is based in the next generation at Hogwarts. Meaning you will find the children of Harry Potter etc.Their will be a few characters that I've made up in the Canon List, they will most likely be the Main Characters.
3> When you make an Application the you have four days to start and finish the application for a Canon Character. After the four days are up then they will be deleted. For Original Characters you have 7 days to finish it (when we start accepting them). Right now we have a ban in place on Originals.
4> We Site Staff so we get the last say in everything and anything that has to do with the site. The Site Staff will consist of 2 Admins, 2 Global Moderators and 2 Moderators. Do not PM the Main Admin asking if you can be an Admin or Global Mod. or Moderator. I will pick them to see who is going to be active and who will be helpful.
5> Please do not Sign Up just to Advertise and/or Affiliate your site and/or just to spam on the site. It gets really annoying when people do that. Their is a Affiliate and Advertise board that is GUEST friendly so you can Advertise and Affiliate your sites their.
6> Please do not PM the Admins for certain codes that were used on the site. There are Sites out their that will help you find a code if you need one.
7> Swearing is allowed on the site but make sure you don't swear in every post you make. It will get kind of annoying and their might be younger kids on here that really don't need to read a lot of swearing.
8> Above all please respect people the way you want to be respected. It might be difficult to do because of the House Rivalry but don't get to aggressive with it. But you must RESPECT people when you are out of Character.
9> The Staff Team can add more Rules here if they wish to so make sure you check it every once in a while to see if anymore have been added.
10> Sex and Wizarding Alcoholic Drinks are allowed but make sure you do go over board on it, meaning no details when it comes to sex. Fade to black if you have to. Also If I find out there are people that are going over board on it anyway then I will delete this rule and I'll allow none of it. DRUGS ARE NOT ALLOWED. I don't like people doing them in Real Life and I'm not going to let people do them on this Site.
11> You are only aloud to have up to 4 Characters only. Any characters past that you must get an admins permission, which probably won't happen often. You have to be able to handle all the characters that you register as. If we find that you are not, we will delete the least active character, weahter you like them or not. Right now we have a ban on original characters, until we get some canon characters. You must have ONE male character in your bunch of four, at the very least, though we would prefer TWO (two boys and two girls). Far to many people Sign Up and are either just Females or just Males (which is very rare). If there get to be to many of one Gender then I will place a ban on that gender.
12> Your Sig cannot stretch the page. If it does then it will be deleted and you'll have to find a new one.
13> Above All HAVE FUN.
14> VAMPIRES ARE ALLOWED BUT ONLY A FEW. NOT EVERYONE CAN BE VAMPIRES. THE ADMINS WILL LET YOU KNOW IF YOU CAN BE AN VAMPIRE OR NOT. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT BASE YOUR CHARACTER OFF SOMEONE FROM TV SHOW OR MOVIE *COUGH*BELLASWAN*COUGH* BE ORIGINAL PLEASE. I DON'T GO JOINING A TWILIGHT SITE AS HARRY POTTER.
15> Activity is important. As an Admin I am very active and I ask my members to be active as well. I am not saying you have to come on 20 or 30 times a day, but I am just saying that it’s important that you come on a few times a week just to keep up with posts. Accounts that are inactive for longer than a period of 30 days will be deleted unless I am somehow informed of your absence. Also Canon Characters have to be more Active then Original Characters.
Signatures
1> Please keep signatures no bigger than 500 x 500 px. Avatars should be no bigger than 100 x 100 px.
2> Only one image is allowed in your signature area is a Siggie unless you are using smaller images. If you are using avatar-sized images then you may have 4 images side by side.
3> Please do not post images containing nudity or pornography. They will be removed from your profile and you will be given a warning. If it occurs again, you may be banned.
4> Please use an image host to host your images. Don’t hotlink.
CHARACTER RULES
These are simple and we would appreciate if you followed them as your account will be deleted if you don't.
1> PLEASE, if you chose a canon character to be then be CANON! We won't tolerate anything else.
2> If you make your character up, basically use an original character, please take some time and make it a good one. No nonsense relation to any canon characters (no siblings, children etc).
3> Please make no characters which are children either as this gets annoying after a while also we RP Hogwarts and at the post potter time so there would be no children of any students!
4> If you want your character to be pregnant you have to PM one of the two ADMINS so we can talk and you also have to talk to the the guy that is the father to the child.
5> Please, this is still Hogwarts, Muggle things don't work here. Ipods, Nintendo DS, PSP are not allowed to be used, for they would not work on the grounds of Hogwarts.
6> Students are only allowed 2 special abilities including one breed. Adults may only have up to 3 unless you are a Canon and we have discussed it along with the Site Staff.
